    FIRST RESPONDERS FREE at the HEART MOUNTAIN INTERPRETIVE CENTER
     
    For the month of February, first responders will receive free admission to the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center. This benefit includes fire fighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics and any other emergency personnel from all federal, state and local agencies.     Heart Mountain Site receives Wyoming Humanities Council Grant

    The Wyoming Humanities Council has once again provided funding for field trips to the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center and WWII Japanese American Confinement Site. The $3,284.00 grant will benefit over 500 Wyoming school children and teachers during the 2014-2015 school year, covering a portion of admission and transportation costs.  Click here to read entire Press Release

     2014 Heart Mountain Pilgrimage to Honor Veterans
     
    The Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation announces its Annual Pilgrimage, with the focus of honoring the service of veterans to the country. With the theme of “Honoring Selfless Service” this year’s events will recognize soldiers who were incarcerated at Heart Mountain during World War II.
